All four QQR sofa beds share the same base: 79" of high-density foam in ribbed corduroy, folded into a sofa that opens flat into a bed. No frame to bolt together, no springs to squeak. They differ in the arms and the back: the original has rounded bolster arms, the Hex Arm has six-sided arms with metal side bars, and the Round Arm and High Backrest versions add a taller back for upright sitting.

Every QQR sofa bed is a stack of foam blocks in a corduroy cover. Flip the seat section forward and it lies flat as a 79"-long floor bed, 70" wide on the original model. There is no pull-out mechanism to pinch fingers or jam, and the whole thing weighs about 66–94 lb, light enough for two people to move.
Because nothing is fixed, the blocks rearrange: keep the back up for a sofa, lay it down for a lounger, or split the sofa into two low chaises for gaming or reading. Versatility is one of the things buyers single out in their reviews: it works as a couch and as a bed.
The original and Hex Arm versions are low, lounge-style seats at 26.7" tall. If you want to sit upright, the Round Arm and High Backrest models raise the back to about 34.5". Reviews of the Round Arm call it firm rather than plush, and one owner notes the tall back cushion does not stand up entirely on its own.

Multi-box orders can arrive on different days. Do not open anything until all boxes are there, and decide where the sofa will stand: once expanded it is much bulkier.
Carry the box to its final spot while it is still compact. Unpacked, the foam no longer fits through tight doors as easily.
Open the box and slit the plastic without cutting the corduroy. The foam starts unrolling right away.
Give it 48–72 hours (24–72 hours for the sectionals) to reach full size. Patting the cushions or a steam iron over the fabric speeds it up.
Fit the metal side bars on the Hex Arm, place the headrests on the sectionals, and arrange the pillows.
To sleep on it, flip the seat section forward until it lies flat. Fold it back the same way.
